like a bathysphere being lowered into murky waters

Ahoy, peeplets! How are you.

Me? I’m GREAT. Going on holiday, y’see! Buggering off over that horizon, launching my fleshy mass into what is technically known as ‘the future’, but is also, more accurately known as ‘one time zone to the right’.

(We’re actually just going over to country NSW to visit family, but yknow how I get.)

So what could be better to mark this occasion than a sojourn…into the past

Back when life was Measurably Less Good, I was slaving away under the yoke of a job I didn’t like much. I mean, I liked it well enough. They gave me money, after all! Money for DOING THINGS. And I’d made friends there and whatever.

But it was during this time that I became inspired by John Campbell, and his yearly attempt to spend a day (or days) making one comic every hour. So, taking this inspiration to its logical conclusion, I ripped the poor man off entirely.

And thus Day Off Comics were born! It only lasted a couple of days, and was quite fun. A lot of effort, yes, but a lot of fun. However unlike this comic, upon which you base your daily happiness, it never made it off Facebook. But now, in an attempt to a) relax, and b) show you all that yes, in fact, I can be worse at this whole comics thing, I’ll be uploading one of these comics a day, for a whole week.

Sit back, try to choke down your disgust, and behold! THE WEEK OF DAY OFF COMICS COMMENCES TOMORROW.

WHICH IS TO SAY, THE 30TH OF MARCH, 2014.

TONIGHT’S COMIC HAS ALREADY BEEN SCHEDULED, AND IS IN FACT, A NORMAL COMIC.

TONIGHT BEING THE 29TH OF MARCH, 2014.

9PM.

THAT IS ALL.
