I used to draw a comic a long time ago, with some friends. It was pretty decent, we had some laughs, but it died off because there were no firm deadlines. There was no pressure no create consistent output.
So here it is – Only the Truest of Facts, a comic I absolutely have to draw, once a day, every day.
I hope you like it. Sometimes, I do too! By sometimes, I mean FOREVER

I’ll have to check the archives. But maybe its better if we leave it alone and just remember things the way we want to, not the way they actually happened.

Unfortunately, while I do enjoy the benefits of WordPress as a conveyance for my daily humours, I must confess I don’t read all that many blogs! So it would be a tad fraudulent for me to hand out props to others, having not assessed their work fully. I have done an award post in the past, and it was fun, but I’d basically just be repeating that one
But again, thank you so much! Your appreciation has warmed my gnarled tree-root of a heart 🙂
It’s all tied in with that whole thing of food feeling entirely separate from its origins. Chicken at least largely keeps its name across the process (in English, anyway) but there’s beef, lamb, pork…I imagine this has been waxed lyrical by many, but still. Good stuff to muse on!
I love the layout of your blog. Especially the cats at the top. I used to also draw comics like you but then it died out for me the same way it did for you. I used to make a comic about cops. Good times. Maybe I should get back into it. I look forward to seeing more of your comics.
I heartily endorse the drawing of new comics! This current project has far outstripped the quality and success of its antecedent. Art is there to be made! I wish you all the best with any efforts you make in the future 🙂
